‘Great things happen when there is gathering of great mind’Inter State / Inter Region / Inter School and Inter Class Reciprocal Cultural Exchange Program under the aegis of AFS India was held at RKK Jodhpur on
13th to 23rd November 2019 in collaboration with three schools of national repute. The eminent schools which participated in the event were :
· Sunbeam School, Varuna, Varanasi
· Amity International School, Pushp Vihar, New Delhi
· Vantage Hall Girls' Residential School, Dehradun
This program gave a fair opportunity to students to improve new culture and exchange ideas with fellow students. It proved a best learning experience for the students where they got chance to explore the heritage city Jodhpur, learn the royal cuisine & delicacies of Rajasthan and participated zealously in all the activities and friendly matches organized by the Host School, RKK. Keeping the essence of beautiful art and craft of Jodhpur, Tie and Dye, Dance & Drama, Swar Sadhna – Music Workshops were a part of this program.
This program truly provided the guest teams an opportunity to explore tradition, belief and language of the Blue City. It has been a great endeavour to broaden one’s horizon and increase the tendency of acceptance beyond geographical boundaries.
