VISIT TO JODHANA OLD AGE HOME

“Service is eternal & has no boundaries, it is an act of goodwill” Serving the ostracized & the neglected has always been RKK’s priority. RKK endeavoured to celebrate AFS India Day on the theme “Support the Elders” to spread happiness & brightness into the lives of the elderly people in association with Helpage India. A few students of Rajmata, Vasvi Gupta, Bhumika Sankhla, Bhavika Ramrakhiyani, Bhavya Gehlot, Kamal Soni, Komal Jodha, Ashmi Parekh  along with the escort teacher Ms Abha Ma’am visited the Jodhana Old Age Home on 08th November 2016 to meet the neglected elderly to share their grief and spread happiness. The students learnt about life at the Old Age Home, donated woolens  and did their very best to serve the elderly. They also learnt that the Old Age Home might provide them with every facility with no prices charged but old age homes are no solution. Meeting with them was a pleasure.  It has been a remarkable experience which taught the students that elderly people are an asset who give knowledge and love should not be treated as a burden.
