ROBOVATION WORKSHOP AT MAYOOR SCHOOL, CHOPASANI

Imagine a world where teachers are replaced by Robots, where every task whether household chores, office work or a helping hand in laboratory is been done by a Robot. Whatever mode of teaching is required, whether audio or video, it will be in human control.

To get into this fascinating world of Robots, a team of three members - Gauri Baxi, Tiya Gupta with Teacher Escort, Ms Suman Rathore participated in the ‘Robovation’ Workshop at Mayoor School, Chopasani on 25th April 2018.

The Workshop started with two welcome dances and formal welcome by the Principal. The audience was explained about the Robots, the reason they are called as Programmed Machines and how they are important to humans. The main building blocks of Robot like sensors, mechanical structure and control system were also explained in detail. Assembling of all the parts and making a Robot was a new experience. The RKKians were the first ones to complete successful testing and make the line follower Robot based on IR sensors which follows only black path. This great opportunity widened the thinking horizon of the participants to a great extent.
