On 24th April 2018, the students of Class VIII went for an Educational Visit to the Dainik Bhaskar Printing Press.

The following facts were learnt by the students that there were big newspapers, paper rolls and huge printing machines that towered high and costed 5.5 score each. This is the most popular newspaper and is printed in 14 States like Rajasthan, Gujarat, Punjab, Maharashtra, Haryana, Madhya Pradesh etc. in 4 languages. 624 editions are printed every day no matter what the circumstances are. They work tirelessly everyday so that people can have their morning tea while reading the newspaper. 40 reels per day are consumed to print newspaper where one reel is 8-10 km long. The paper pulp is imported from Canada, Russia, Japan and is bought from India as well. There are 4 departments namely – Marketing Department which is responsible for writing the Reports, Editorial Department which edit reports for comprehension, Production Department which is the most important of all and Circulation Department. Main colours of printing are Cyan, Magenta, Black and Yellow. This was worth a lifetime exposure and a visit to be remembered for ever.
