REMARKABLE FEAT


A team comprising six students, Tirtha Ajit, Aastha Sancheti, Mansi Agarwal, Chesta Chopra, Nikita Singh and Palak Maheshwari with their Teacher Escort, Mrs Asha Vikas Bajpai participated in the D.F. Jack Memorial English Debate, Padmashri J.K. Kate Memorial Hindi Debate & P.G. Miller  Memorial Quiz hosted by The Daly College, Indore on 13 & 14th April 2018.

For English Preliminary Round Pool A, the topic for the debate was ‘The world needs the passionate and not the compassionate’ and for Pool B was, ‘Globalization promotes materialism’. For Hindi Preliminary Round the topic was, ‘Abhivyakti ki swatantrta ek vivadaspad avdharana hai’ and for the Final Round was, ‘Vidhalayo mai junk food par pabandi laga deni chahiye’.

In English Debate RKK strongly competed against Mayo College Girls’ School, Ajmer, Vidya Devi Jindal School, Hisar, Pathways World School, Gurgoan and The Emerald Heights International School, Indore and in Hindi debate against Mayo College Girls’ School, Vidya Devi Jindal School and The Doon School.

RKK actively participated in all the brainstorming events and qualified for the Final Rounds of both the English and Hindi Debates for which they left no stone unturned. Leaving all the competitors behind, Cheshta Chopra and Mansi Agarwal of Class 10th secured the first position in the Hindi Debate. Mansi Agarwal was adjudged as the Best Speaker in both the Preliminary and the Final Rounds. Aastha Sancheti of Class 10th and Tirtha Ajit of Class 12th secured the 5th Rank in the Final Round of the English Debate.

This honour and achievement has added another shining feather to the adorned crown of RKK and has truly inspired the RKKians to aspire for more such rewarding opportunities and remarkable feats.
