RKK @ INTERNATIONALISM

It is widely accepted that the traditional chalk and talk model of content-oriented teaching cannot adequately prepare young people for the future and therefore, focus is shifted on value-oriented experiential learning. To counter the challenges that the schools across the world are grappling with, there is an International School Award approach which is holistic and promising. RKK celebrated its school’s international work with the British Council’s International School Award. The ISA Head, the school Principal, Mrs Neera Singh and ISA Coordinator, Mrs Sapna Gupta were conferred with a beautiful Citation and a Trophy on 13th December 2017 at The Lalit in New Delhi for presenting an unparalleled Dossier of International Dimension into their school curriculum.

International education in RKK is a common feature that enriches teaching and learning. The educators are constantly introduced to new practices and perspectives, furthering their professional development and raising teaching standards. Faculty & students in RKK are provided with a window into different cultures and countries, helping them develop as responsible global citizens and preparing them for life and work in a global society.

The International School Award is an additional, supportive and motivational framework to guide international learning activities and gain recognition for the school’s international work.
