DANCING TREAT


Those who were seen dancing were thought to be insane by those who could not hear the music”. A team comprising 11 students, Disha Hadimani, Madhurima Rathore, Vaniza Dolwani, Kaveena Maheshwari, Charvi N Panjabi, Shubhangi Malani, Ananya Sharda, Kashish Banthia, Khushboo Rathore, Shaheen Khan, Sanjana Singh and their teacher escorts Ms Mahua and Mr Manoj Kumar Sandha represented the IPSC Dance Fest held at Mody School, Laxmangarh from 10th to 12th November 2017.

The total dance forms for the Competition being 4 included Solo Performance, Folk Dance, Semi Classical and the Western Dance form. The Competition was declared open on the 10th of November and was followed by the Solo Dance Competition the same afternoon in which The Daly College was declared the winners. The evening of 10th of November witnessed the Folk Dance Competition which was won by Sharda School, Udupi. The second day had a tight schedule which started with the Semi Classical Competition in which RKK was awarded the 3rd position. The 1st position went to The Emerald Heights International School, Indore. The last Competition for the fest was the Western Dance form which was again won by The Emerald Heights being the Winners and saw The Daly College as the Runners Up.
