CIVIC OBLIGATION

To have a well-structured tax culture, which is the key to a country’s development, it is very necessary to organize meaningful and noteworthy taxpayer’s education. In this respect, to provide this practical knowledge to the students of Class XI & XII, a visit & interaction by the Income Tax Department was organized by the school on 24th July 2017. Many topics including the history, concept, establishment, reforms, amendments, achievements, objectives, aim, & vision for the future of the department were discussed. The young generation was enlightened by this department celebrating their 157th year since foundation in 1860 about the importance of paying right amount of tax for their bright future. They understood very well that paying taxes is a communal obligation and a price for civilization.
