VALUE OF WATER

A visit for Class VIII was planned on 8th July 2017 to Jal Bhagirathi Foundation which is located in Bijolai Palace. It has excellent water conservation system and is an important source to conserve water in this dry and deserted region of Marwar. The place is surrounded all over by mountains which helps is collecting rain water. A proper discharge of the overflowed water is developed in such a manner which does not allow water to be wasted. Rain Water Harvesting is a boon in the Thar Region where there is water scarcity.
