RKK’S MAIDEN OVERSEAS TRIP - US EAST COAST


One cannot deny the importance of visiting foreign countries and learning about their cultures, customs and traditions. Amidst a plethora of reasons, Rajmata Krishna Kumari Girls’ Public School, Jodhpur initiated  its Educational International tour to the Eastern Coast of the United States , “Land of the free and the home of the brave” from 21st May to 2nd June 2015 with a group of 49 students and 4 escort teachers.  The Empire State Building, Times Square, Statue of Liberty , Brooklyn Bridge , Manhattan Skyline  in New York City, Martin Luther King Memorial, Abraham Lincoln Memorial, Jefferson   Memorial, The White House, Capitol Building  in Washington DC, The Corning Museum of Glass and Harshey’s Chocolate World took the students to a world of fantasy. Experiencing  the incredible power and beauty of Niagara Falls where millions of gallons of water rushes all around soaked everyone in its excitement. A historical ride aboard the world-famous Maid of the Mist was a thrill of a lifetime. Three days’ visit to Kennedy Space Centre of  NASA and first-hand Astronaut Training Experience from a veteran NASA astronaut, Mr Winston E. Scott, a space shuttle mission simulation and hands-on space exploration activities, a full-scale shuttle mock-up and taking the helm in mission control immersed the Rkkians in the exciting world of today’s astronauts with realistic astronaut training.

From the classic Magic Kingdom Park at Walt Disney  to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter at  Orlando, there was  a world for everyone to escape into. A wonderland of ocean animals at SeaWorld, leisurely float and slips on the Cocoa Beach, mysterious , chilling and thrilling Dolphin and Penguin World put wonder at the fingertips and  created lasting memories for  years. Stay at Clarion Hotel, Holiday Inn, Wilshire Grand etc, visit to  Florida Mall, Wall Mart, delectable Continental, Indian and American Cuisine added flavour to this spectacular trip. An inspiring adventure and exploration , action  and amazement, thrills and wonders, beauty and majesty , breathtaking shows , incredible exhibits, exhilarating rides, massive wave pools ,slides, splashes,  spraying water and fountains , inspiring multi-sensory celebrations continued  to inspire and left the team stunningly speechless and amazed in the new depths of wonder.
