AMALGAMATING MIND AND MELODY

Today’s generation needs more than a pen and a paper. They need music, fun, art and better education and creative or innovative learning. Jolly Phonics is a fun filled and child- centric approach centered approach to teaching through Synthetic Phonics Programme. With actions for each of the 42 letter sounds, the multi-sensory method is very motivating for children and teachers. The letter sounds are split into seven groups and taught to the children via melodies of music. It is a perfect example of melody, fun, education and mind simulation combined together, making it a wonderful inclusive music education program. A spellbound session on Jolly Phonics was organized in the school for the little sunshines of Pre-Primary grade on 21 March 2015. Enthralling and joyful, it was put in order by Mrs. Madhvi Singh. It surely left all with smile on their faces and knowledge in their minds.
