The delegation was warmly welcomed and ‘Atithe Devo Bhava’ spirit was truly evident in the Amitians .The next three days of MUN were fully packed with research, debates discussions and finding solutions to the problems. Students had a new and enriching experience. A cultural evening was also organised by the Chairperson. Next five days passed with the blink of an eye experiencing cultural exchange program. Many workshops were planned to enlighten the team to learn more about their culture. Dance Workshop, Cuisine Workshop and Sculpture Workshop added to their horizon. Cricket match payed between teams of senior girls was also witnessed. Another amazing experience was of sitting in their classes and studying with them. Visit to Amity Global School, attending Pottery and Music Workshop, interaction with the students about their lifestyle, culture, food, school and other aspects widened their vision and perception. Visit to Amitasha and Atulasha, which are managed by Amity Education Resource Centre for unprivileged students sensitized the RKKians.

Correctly said, ‘The more you know about the past, the better prepared you are for the future’. Visit to the heritage places of Delhi like Qutab Minar, India Gate, Humayun’s Tomb, Rajghat, Akshardham and the National Science Centre etc. proved the maxim true. It was very hard to say good-bye to the friends made, but the sweet memories will never fade.

IN CONTINUATION TO THIS EXCHANGE PROGRAM, RKK ALSO HOSTED THE AMITIANS.

Hosting

Take every chance you get in life because some things only happen once.

It has almost been five years when RKK got its AFS membership. Within these five years students have got ample  opportunities through exchange programs to learn and grow.

Under the aegis of AFS-India RKK from 3rd to 9th December 2018, hosted students of Amity School, Noida in its campus. During their stay at RKK, Amitians were exposed to rich and varied culture of Rajasthan. They visited sand dunes in Osian, Mandore Garden, Peanut Factory. The architectural beauty of Mehrangarh fort and Palace left them spell bound. Art and Craft classes, learning Indian Cuisine, Tie and Dye, Dance and Music classes added to their memorable moments spent at RKK. Cultural night followed by Principal’s Dinner was organised in their honour on 7th December. Exchange of ideas and thoughts during informal conversations made everyone realise that these exchange programs sparks the imagination, feeds the curiosity and reminds us how much we all have in common. With soulful memories, the Amitians left the portals of RKK on 9th Dec morning.
