Two Days Capacity Building Program in Social Science was conducted at Rajmata Krishna Kumari Girls’ Public School on
30th & 31st August 2018. The Workshop was conducted under the able mentorship of the Principal Mrs Neera Singh. The CBSE Co-ordinator Mr Jai Prakash Narayan reported that 88 CBSE schools of Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Gujrat participated in the Workshop. Ms. Poonam Mathur from Maharani Gayatri Devi School, Jaipur and Ms Lotika from H.G. International School Abu Road were appointed as Resource Person by CBSE and they expressed their views on the current education system and conveyed that the use of new technique will make each subject interesting for students to study. This Workshop was a fine initiative in Teacher Empowerment through Capacity Building Programme on Scholastic Aspects. Every participant was given Certificate of Participation on the last day of the Workshop.
The Workshop began with an Ice Breaking Session wherein the teacher participants were grouped into two members’ team. The introductory session was followed by a discussion on the weakness and strength of teacher during the teaching-learning process, awareness of which is essential for expected results.
It was an interesting interactive session which aimed at empowering teachers with innovative methods of teaching Social Science in classrooms. It was a great learning experience.
