EXPERIENCE OF THRILL & SATISFACTION

On 28th & 29th March 2017 students of Class IX embarked on a trip to Phalodi to visit the sixth Air Force Station in Rajasthan, commissioned in 2010. It is under the South Western Air Command and is now the base for a squadron of Sukhoi-30 MKI fighter jets. Students were thrilled to witness the sound and meticulous working of the units. It instilled a sense of pride and nationalism in students when they recognized the fact that several units that operate from Phalodi Air Force Station ensure Air Force trainings and air strikes in case any such need occurs, plays a pivotal role in managing the Air Forces operation in western border of India which shares an international border with Pakistan and needs complete vigilance to maintain the internal security and external threats of all kinds. On the way, RKKians added colours to the dark lives of the children of God on their visit to a blind school. Bedsheets and food packets distributed to these innocent children lit their faces with thrill and joy. This successful endeavour formed a part of school’s Silver Jubilee Extravaganza and holds great importance because it undertook two Ideals of ‘Adventure’ and ‘Service’ at the same time.
